Tired, But Good Tired
Today I finally shared my project Wave Radio on Product Hunt. I've been delaying it for a bit and waiting for the right moment but as with most things sometimes you just need to do it.
So far I have to say the most rewarding part of the launch has been receiving feedback from others and seeing people use the site. Even when someone finds a bug or has a suggestion it still feels great. These are real people using the product I conceived and built myself. That's rewarding in itself.
There's a lot I'll have to do to keep it going now. In the past, I've learnt that these launches rarely reflect on the future success of a project. A great launch can peter out in the following months. A terrible launch can slowly but steadily grow over time. The most important things are keeping the users you attract, figuring out the best organic distribution channels, and improving the product consistently but with careful considerations.
I'm completely exhausted now after a long day of sharing that link as much as I can, responding to comments and emails, and fixing issues as they arise. But it's a good kind of exhausted.
